Gross Catholic Soccer Camp
June 17, 18, & 19, 6-8 PM
for boys and girls entering the 1st through 9th grades in the fall of 2009
Topics
This 3-day clinic will focus on the basic skills players need to be successful at the high school level. The topics of passing, dribbling, receiving, and shooting will all be covered in a dynamic format that is proven to help each player progress.
What to Bring
Participants should wear soccer shorts, a t-shirt, proper footwear and shinguards. Each player needs to bring their own water jug.
Where to Meet
Meet at 6:00 pm on June 17 at the west commons doors at Gross Catholic. We’ll check your name off, give you your t-shirt and walk down to the field.

Q: How much is the camp? A: The camp costs $45.00. Make the check out to Gross Catholic. The cost includes training and a Gross Soccer t-shirt.
Q: How do I register? A: Just click the link above and fill out the form. Send a check by June 12. If it is past the deadline, you can register and bring the check to camp. You can also register late by calling 734-2000. If you do register late—we cannot guarantee that you will receive a t-shirt.
Q: Should I bring sunscreen? A: Yes, we expect the weather to be warm and sunny. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
Q: What if it rains? A: If it rains we’ll move inside to the spacious gymnasium within Gross Catholic High School.
Q: Where will we be training? A: We will be using the Gross practice field located just south of the school building.

Camp Coaching Staff
Coach Jim Homan: Coach Homan currently holds a US Soccer “A” License and has been coaching in the Omaha area for over 20 years. Homan has coached both boys and girls at many levels. He is the current Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach at Gross as well as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at the College of Saint Mary. Homan is the former Nebraska State Director of Coaching, former coach of 3 time State Champion Gladiator Sabre and former assistant at Bellevue University.
Coach Kim Matzen: Coach Matzen is current Assistant Head Coach and Goalkeeper Coach at Gross Catholic as well as at the College of Saint Mary . She is a former All-American Goalkeeper for CSM and All-State Goalkeeper for Gross.
Coach Brian Fuchser: Coach Fuchser is currently the Head Boys Soccer Coach at Gross Catholic HS. Prior to his position at Gross, Fuscher was an Assistant Soccer Coach at Columbus Scotus.
Current and Former Players: The camp is also staffed by amazing current and former Gross Catholic soccer players.
