Advising Gross Catholic students and their parents through high school and beyond, the Guidance department fulfills an essential function.

Contact Information

Mr. Dempsey works with all freshmen.  Mr. Dempsey is also a Career Counselor and the Athletic and Activities Director.

Mr. Hargis works with all sophomores and juniors. He is the Guidance Center Director; Gross Catholic's military contact and is in charge of special programs and standardized testing.

Ms. Schow works with seniors and is the College Counselor who helps with the application process, obtaining financial aid and scholarship information and scheduling college rep visits.

Mr. McClure works in college planning on Mondays only.

Mrs. Hazuka is the Guidance Center secretary who works primarily in college planning.  She is available most weeks on Tuesday and Wednesday.
