Alumni Sand Volleyball Tournament

With temperatures hovering around the 100° mark, Gross Catholic’s Alumni Association hosted the first annual Alumni Sand Volleyball Tournament and Barbeque on August 11th of 2007.  Over 150 Cougar alumni, forming 20 teams, competed for the championship crown at O’Leaver’s Pub.  Cheered on by their classmates, teams battled through pool play before enjoying a wonderful barbeque and some cool drinks.  In the tournament finals, the team led by alumni Laurie Kantor ’96 and Glenn Kee ’79 defeated a young alumni team of Travis Tangeman ’05, Dani Mancuso ’03, Amanda Mancuso ’05, Andrew Conzett ’05, Nate Novotny ’05, and Matt Pierson ’05.
