Retreats are designed to give students an opportunity to reflect on their lives and deepen their relationships with God, family, and friends. Retreats also provide a sense of belonging and are designed to benefit all students, regardless of their religious affiliation. Prayer and the sacraments are an essential part of the experience, as well as, the participants’ involvement in discussions and other faith-building activities. All students are required to make an annual retreat with their classmates.
The Freshman retreat focuses on helping our new Cougars acknowledge their gifts and realizing how they can use them to benefit themselves as well as others in the Cougar Family.
The Sophomore retreat focuses on the different forms of prayer, and how easy it is to include prayer in the busy life of teenagers.
The Junior retreat is a service retreat where Juniors go out to different agencies in the community to do service work and to learn what it means to be living out the call to serve others.
The Senior Retreat focuses on preparing seniors for life after high school and helps them learn how to use their faith as a secure foundation. The retreat also focuses on how students have grown from their Freshman to Senior year.
