Yvonne Carson has been at Gross since 1994. She has a degree in English and Physical Education from Doane College. She has also been a part of the "Bearing Witness" program, a highly recognized program on how to teach the Holocaust within a Catholic teaching environment. She attended special classes on the Holocaust in addition to studyiing for two weeks in Israel and has taken these experiences back into her classrooms to help the students better understand the Holocaust. Mrs. Carson lives in Omaha and her husband, Scott, works for Mutual of Omaha has a system analyst. They have two children who attended Gross Catholic. Mrs. Carson is also the Council Bluff's' Abraham Lincoln High School head volleyball coach. |
