Performing at Their Best

Congratulations to the Varsity Dance team for their fantastic showing at the State Dance & Cheer Competition held at the Heartland Center in Grand Island in February 2008.   The Cougar Dance team is the '07-'08 State Runner-up in the Class B Hip Hop Division and placed 3rd in both the Class B Pom division and the A/B High Kick Division!

The Gross Catholic Dance Team performs at home basketball games and various area competitions.

Varsity Dance Team – Consists of 12-16 freshman, sophomore, junior & senior members. The team is chosen by audition each spring. Recently, the team placed first in the Dance & Kick Division and was crowned Grand Champions at the Grand Island Invitational Competition and placed second in the River Cities Conference, with four River Cities All-Conference team members selected.

Junior Varsity Dance Team – Consists of 8-12 freshman, sophomore & junior members. The team is chosen by audition each spring. Recently, the team place second at the River Cities Conference Championship.

Coach: Ms. Rani McLenon

Junior High All-Star Dance Team – Consists of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade members. The team is chosen by audition each fall and performs at four Gross Catholic varsity basketball games and area competitions.
