Gross Catholic High School is large enough to offer a wide variety of courses, yet is a small enough to give students the personal attention they need. Our college-preparatory curriculum includes over 100 different courses in 14 academic departments. Gross Catholic’s school day begins with prayer at 7:40 a.m. and is dismissed at 2:58 p.m. The school day consists of eight 46-minute periods, plus Advisory and lunch.
Gross Catholic has a caring, dedicated faculty and over 50% hold advanced degrees in their teaching field. The average class size is 18 and the student to teacher ratio is 12:1.
Gross Catholic offers 10 Advanced Placement courses and six additional Honors courses. We also provide ACT test preparation classes and partner with Metropolitan Community College Technical Academy for industrial technology courses.
Approximately 96% of Gross Catholic students attend college and universities, and about 50% of our students are awarded scholarships each year.
