Daniel J. and Louise Ortman Gross

Daniel J. Gross, a prominent Omaha attorney, and his wife Louise Ortman Gross contributed generously toward the construction of Daniel J. Gross Catholic High School. Although the couple had no children of their own, they were strong supporters of Catholic education in the Omaha area.

The Archdiocese of Omaha, with the help of Daniel & Louise Gross, built Daniel J. Gross Catholic High School to meet the critical need for Catholic education in Sarpy County and Southern Douglas County. Today, Gross Catholic continues the proud tradition of excellence in spiritual, academic, athletic, artistic, and social education.
