The students and staff of Gross Catholic invite you to join us as we celebrate Catholic Schools Week January 30 – February 3, 2012. The theme for the week is Catholic Schools: Faith. Academics. Service.
Monday, January 30
• Celebrating the positive impact of Catholic schools from pre-school to college, we recognize our high academic standards and high graduation rate, all supported by strong morals.
• Special Dress: Any Catholic school shirt or sweatshirt with khakis
Tuesday, January 31
• Celebrating our Cougar family spirit, students will enjoy sing-a-long karaoke during the lunch periods.
Wednesday, February 1
• Recognizing the commitment and sacrifice our families make to send us to Catholic schools, parents are invited to join their child(ren) for brown bag lunch. Lunch A begins at 11:17 am and Lunch B begins at 12:03 pm. Check with your child for their lunch schedule. No vendor lunch available.
Thursday, February 2
• Catholic Schools Week Mass to celebrate our faith. Mass will be at 9:05 am in the Main Gym. Students and staff from St. Bernadette elementary school will be joining us.
Friday, February 3
• Celebrating our well-rounded education, including athletics and activities, Gross Catholic students will compete in our annual Catholic Olympiad at 2:20 pm in the main gym.
